Throughout my publishing career, I have been involved in the music and book industries – from product concept and creation to selling hundreds of thousands of books to retailers and wholesalers around the world. Born in London in the 50’s I grew up in the greatest music decade of all during its evolution through the 60s. I have had the privilege of publishing and selling books on almost every major music artist and band from all around the world during that time.
Like many of us I experienced unexpected changes because of Covid, losing my job! I decided to find books to sell on my favorite subjects and continue working together with retailers and authors wherever I could and now call many of them friends. My dream was to launch a decade site focusing on the 1960s, a connecting place for authors and fans and provide a treasure trove of things to discover, learn about and own. We offer current books, out of print titles from personal collections; branded merchandise from travel bags to wearables, music instruments to collectables. All available in one place. My own love of collecting attracts me to search for things I would want and be able to offer these items to existing and the next generation of fans.
Friends like Angie and Ruth McCartney, Bruce Spizer, Terry Craine, David Bedford and many others have embraced this project. We have created stunning new books and discovered incredible stories delivered by our blog. Ruth and Angie’s weekly Teaflix Tuesdays broadcast with industry celebrities – their friends from the music industry, can be viewed directly from our site in their entirety.
